UsingDCHP
Ifyouwanttouseyourdriveonanetw orkthatwhereallormostofthedevice susedyna micIPaddresses
suppliedbyaDHCPserver,settherotaryswitchto“F”.Whenthedriveisconnectedtothenetworkand
poweredon,itwillobtainanIPaddressandasubnetmaskfromtheserverthatiscompatiblewithyourPC.
Theonlycatchisthatyouwon’tknowwhataddresstheserverassignstoyourdrive.EthernetConfigurator
canfindyourdriveusingtheDriveDiscoveryfeature,aslongasyournetworkisn’ttoolarge.Withthedrive
connectedtothenetworkandpoweredon,selectDriveDiscoveryfromtheDrivemenu.
